League Overview
Oregon West League (OWL), the Beaverton Hoop YMCA's premier winter league hosts over 60 teams with divisions for youth grades 4th through high school. League play begins January 5th and runs through February 25th. Each team plays an eight game season scheduled on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Games run every hour beginning at 5:00 p.m. with the last contest beginning at 9:00 p.m. The YMCA only accepts full team registrations into our Oregon West League, unless your child is part of a YMCA Hoop Team.

YMCA Hoop Teams
All Hoop teams are created with participants from our elite YMCA Hoop Academy and will compete in the Oregon West League. Players registered for the "combo package" (Hoop Academy and Team) are guaranteed a roster spot on one of our teams. YMCA Hoop Teams will be led by a first class member of our coaching staff and our teams frequently top the standings at the end of the league.

Fees
Team Registration (before 12/15): $450.00
Team Registration (after 12/15): $499.00
Hoop Academy / Hoop Team Combo Package: $650.00
Individual Registration: $299.00 (only charged this amount if we are able to place you on a team)
Financial Assistance
Thanks to the YMCA Community Support Campaign, there are funds available for Financial Assistance. When submitting the completed application, you must attach verification of your household income. We are never able to award a 100% scholarship. We will mail you a reply within 10 days. We need the child's paper registration form and payment before we will place your child on a team; financial assistance recipients are not able to register online.
